Notice is hereby given that MID-VOL COAL SALES, INC., 640 CLOVER DEW DAIRY RD, PRINCETON, WV 24739 has a permit on file with the Department of Enviromental Protection (DEP) for the surface mining of approximately 342.25 acres and has submitted an application to the DEP, 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV 25840, for renewal of Article 3 Permit Number S403192 to Operate an Coal Surface Mine in the Pocahontas No. 3, Pocahontas No. 4, and Pocahontas No. 5 seam of coal. The operation is discharging into Unnamed Tributaries of/and South Fork of Tug Fork River and is located 3.0 miles, Southwest of JENKIN JONES in ADKIN District of McDowell County, Longitude 81o 29′ 44″ and Latitude 37o 16′ 26″ (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).
