AIR QUALITY PERMIT NOTICE
Notice of Application
Notice is given that Bluestone Coal Corp. has applied to the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, for a General Permit Registration and modification for a preparation plant facility located on Burks Creek Road Route 6, near New Richmond in Wyoming County, West Virginia. The facility coordinates are as follows: latitude 37.503333 and longitude -81.486667.
The applicant estimates the potential to discharge the following Regulated Air Pollutants will be: particulate matter baseline emissions of 75 tons per year, point source emissions particulate matter less than 10 microns total of 36 tons per year, and the controlled facility emission total of 1762 tons per year. The facility emissions total for Particulate Matter Less Than 10 Microns of 523 tons per year.
Startup of operation is planned to begin upon permit approval. Written comments will be received by the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, 601 57th Street, SE, Charleston, WV 25304, for at least 30 calendar days from the date of publication of this notice.
