Notice is given that Memorial Funeral Directory, Inc. has applied to the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, for a Construction Permit for a Facultatieve Technology FT III cremation unit located on 645 Athens Road, Princeton, West Virginia, in Mercer County, West Virginia. The latitude and longitude coordinates are: 37.374936, -81.067642.
The applicant estimates the potential to discharge the following Regulated Air Pollutants from the new unit will be:
PM 0.76 tons/year
PM-10 0.76 tons/year
PM-2.5 0.76 tons/year
NOx 2.59 tons/year
SOx 1.37 tons/year
CO 0.07 tons/year
VOCs 0.01 tons/year
Lead 0.0014 tons/year
Total HAPs 0.61 tons/year
Startup of operation is planned to begin on or about the first day of September 2023. Written comments will be received by the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, 601 57th Street, SE, Charleston, WV 25304, for at least 30 calendar days from the date of publication of this notice.
