Notice is hereby given that CORNERSTONE MINING, LLC 150 COURTHOUSE ROAD, SUITE 302, PRINCETON, WV 24740 has submitted an application to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), Division of Mining and Reclamation (DMR) located at 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV, 25840, for an Article 3 permit for the surface disturbance of approximately 8.43 acres in order to Operate a coarse coal refuse recovery operation in the N/A seam of coal. The proposed operation is discharging into Unnamed Tributaries of/and Pinnacle Creek of Guyandotte River of OHIO RV and is located 3.2 miles, Northwest of Matoaka in Barkers Ridge District of Wyoming County, Longitude 81o 18′ 6″ and Latitude 37o 26′ 01″.

Written comments and/or requests for an informal conference of the surface mining application shall identify the applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor at the DEP address above until October 5, 2023, or thirty (30) days from the date of final publication.
