Notice is hereby given that Mid-Vol Coal Sales, Inc., 640 Clover Dew Dairy Road, Princeton, WV 24739 has a permit on file with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for the surface mining of approximately 28.19 acres and has submitted an application to the DEP, 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV, 25840, for renewal of Article 3 Permit Number O000384 to Operate a coal loadout facility in the N/A seam of coal. The operation is discharging into Left Fork of Sandlick Creek and Belcher Branch of Tug Fork River and is located 1.4 miles, Southeast of GARY in ADKIN District of McDowell County, Longitude 81deg. 31′ 30″ and Latitude 37deg. 21′ 16″ (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).

Written comments and/or requests for an informal conference of the permit renewal application shall identify the applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor at the DEP address above until October 19, 2023, or thirty (30) days from date of final publication.
