Hazard Mitigation Meeting
All citizens residing in unincorporated areas of Fayette County who have received substantial damage in the past due to flooding are encouraged to attend a meeting at 2:00 pm on September 20, 2023 at the Montgomery City Hall, located at 321 4th Avenue in Montgomery. State representatives of the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program will be in attendance to explain the program and eligibility for inclusion in the Fayette County Commission HMGP application. If you are interested in participating in a State / FEMA buyout program, it is important for you to attend. The deadline for submitting applications to the County Commission is EOB on October 4, 2023.
