The West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection’s (WVDEP) Division of Mining and Reclamation is holding an in-person and virtual informal conference for the Phase I Bond Release of Permit S301712, Increment #11, held by Republic Energy.
The conference is set for Thursday, September 28, 2023 at 4 p.m. at the WVDEP’s Fayetteville Office, located at 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV 25840. The conference can also be accessed virtually at https://meet.google.com/aav-qqum-irb or by phone at 1 971-361-9203 PIN: 728 663 985#.
The purpose of the informal conference is to provide information, answer questions, and allow formal comments from those interested in the bond release. The conference is being held in accordance with Chapter 22, Article 3, Section 20 of the Code of West Virginia.
