NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
AN ORDINANCE TO APPROVE A LOYALTY INCENTIVE PROGRAM FOR EMPLOYEES OF
TAZEWELL COUNTY
EMERGENCY
MEDICAL SERVICES
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Supervisors of Tazewell County, Virginia, will conduct a public hearing on November 9, 2023 at 7:05 PM, or as soon thereafter as may be practical, at the Tazewell County Administration Building, located at 197 Main Street, Tazewell, Virginia 24651, and hereby gives its intent to consider An Ordinance to Approve a Loyalty Incentive Program for Employees of Tazewell County Emergency Medical Services.
The Tazewell County Board of Supervisors will consider creation of a Loyalty Incentive Program for Tazewell County Emergency Medical Services, whereby any employees who earn greater than three hundred (300) hours of overtime in a calendar quarter will be entitled to an extra bonus of Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00) of compensation. Section 15.2-1508 of the Code of Virginia (1950), as amended, requires that a Board of Supervisors shall enact an Ordinance whenever the Board of Supervisors seeks to provide payment of monetary bonuses to its officers and employees.
All persons wishing to comment on the Ordinance are hereby invited to attend and state their views thereon.
