Take notice that a pleading seeking relief against you has been filed in the above entitled action.
The Plaintiff has filed a civil action against you for custody and exparte custody. The Plaintiff is seeking custody and exparte custody of the minor child, Hornbuckle to this action from you, the Defendant.
You are required to make defense to such pleading to the Randolph County Clerk of Court located at 176 E. Salisbury Street, Asheboro, North Carolina, no later than the 6th day of December 2023, forty (40) days from the date of this notice and upon your failure to do so, the party seeking service against you will apply to the Court for the relief sought.
