Notice is hereby given that RAMACO RESOURCES, LLC, 250 W MAIN ST, SUITE 1900, LEXINGTON, KY 40507 has a permit on file with the Department of Environmental protection (DEP) for the surface mining of approximately 58.26 acres and has submitted an application to the DEP, 1101 George Kostas Drive, Logan, WV 25601, for renewal of Article 3 Permit Number U500413 to Coal Underground in the Eagle seam of coal.
The operation is discharging into Unnamed Tributary of Elk Creek & Elk Creek, and an Unnamed Tributary of Big Cub Creek & Big Cub Creek, and Unnamed Tributary of Clay Branch & Clay Branch of Big Cub Creek all of the Guyandotte River of the Ohio River and is located 0.83 miles, Southwest of Coal Mountain West Virginia in Clear Fork District of Wyoming County, Longitude 81o 43’ 53” and Latitude 37o 40’ 46” (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).
Written comments and/or requests for an informal conference of the permit renewal application shall identify theapplicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor at the DEP address above until
