Clinch Valley Community Action Weatherization Program is looking for experienced, reliable HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and General Contractors needed on a contract basis for installation and repair of single housing units in Tazewell and Russell counties. Contractors must hold a valid Virginia Contractor’s License, provide proof of General Liability Insurance and Workers Compensation Insurance, and successfully complete a Contractor’s Qualification Application, acquired by contacting Clinch Valley Community Action, Inc. All contractors will be required to acquire Lead Safe Worker and Renovation, Repair and Painting certifications provided through Clinch Valley Community Action, Inc. Local contractors utilized whenever possible. All work will be procured through a competitive bidding process. Contracts will be award based on qualifications, availability, price references and understanding of the scope of work.
