The West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection’s Division of Mining and Reclamation (DMR) is hosting a virtual informal conference on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. on Renewal Application No. 3 for Permit No. S502007 held by Lexington Coal Company, LLC.

The purpose of the informal conference is to provide information, answer questions, and allow comments from those interested in the renewal application. The permit area is located 3.09 miles southeast of Twilight, in the Crook District of Boone County and Marsh Fork District of Raleigh County. This conference is being held in accordance with Chapter 22, Article 3, Section 20 of the Code of West Virginia.
