INVITATION FOR BIDS
SPLASH PARK

The City of Bluefield, on behalf of Parks and Rec, is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified firms for a firm to design, furnish and install a splash park at Lotito City Park. The proposal should reflect all costs associated with the project. Engineering, site work, the installation/construction of the pad, features, and some materials, specified herein, are to be provided by the Proposer. Delivery of the Materials to site shall be included in Proposers’ submissions.

Sealed bids should be clearly marked, “RFP SPLASH PARK” and must be received at the City of Bluefield City Hall by 2:00 p.m. (local prevailing time), Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at which time they will be publicly recorded and read aloud. Bids received after this time will not be accepted.

Bid documents are available at City of Bluefield Offices, 200 Rogers St., Bluefield, WV 24701, phone 304-325-5707 x 4. Bid documents can also be found on-line at www.bluefieldwv.gov, by clicking on “Your Government” and “Bids and RFPs.”

All offerors shall abide by all applicable State and Federal laws. The City of Bluefield will afford full opportunity for minority business enterprises to submit a show of interest in response to this invitation and will not discriminate against any interested firm or individual on the grounds of race, creed, sex, age, handicap, or national origin in the contract award. Each bidder must be an Equal Opportunity Employer as defined by Federal and State laws and the Code of West Virginia §5-11-2.

The City of Bluefield reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, and to negotiate with the successful offeror(s).
