Notice is hereby given that BROOKS RUN SOUTH MINING, LLC, PO BOX 460, BRENTON, WV 24818 has submitted an application to the Department of Environmental protection (DEP) 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV 25840 for a significant permit revision to Article 3 permit number U301512 in order to add 2.02 acres in order to add 3 underground injection sites for injection of pumped water from the Pocahontas No. 3 Seam into the Sewell Seam, Infrequently Used Access Road No. 6, Pond No. 22, Pond No. 2, and pipeline route from Pond No. 22 to Pond No. 2
The revised permit will discharge into Unnamed Tributaries of Shop Branch and Shop Branch of Indian Creek of Guyandotte River; Unnamed Tributaries of Wolf Pen Branch of Indian Creek of Guyandotte River; Unnamed Tributaries of Big Branch and Big Branch of Guyandotter River; and Guyandotte River of Ohio River of OHIO RV and is located 2.11 miles, Southeast of Brenton, in the Baileysville District of Wyoming County, Longitude 81o 36’ 34” and Latitude 37o 34’ 21” (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).
Written comments and/or requests for an informal conference of the surface mining application shall identify the applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor at the DEP address above until
