NOTICE

The West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Mining and Reclamation, 601 57th St., Charleston, WV 25304, will hold a Show Cause Hearing starting at 9:00 am on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 on the 3rd Floor in the West Virginia Conference Room No. 3001.

The purpose of this hearing is to show cause why Permit Number S007282 located near Bishop, VA in the District of Big Creek in McDowell County issued to Bluestone Coal Corporation should not be suspended or revoked and associated securities forfeited by Harold Ward, Secretary of the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection. This hearing was requested by Bluestone Coal Corporation in response to Show Cause Order No. 2144. This hearing is being held in Accordance with Title 38, Legislative Rule, Series 2, Section 20.4.e. Request For Proposal

The Fayette County Board of Education is inviting qualified firms to submit qualifications for providing Architectural/Engineering design services for the design and construction oversight for the Midland Trail and Oak Hill High School Athletic Facilities. The initial scope includes a new baseball/softball field and turf football field on the Midland Trail High School Campus, as well as a new turf football field and track replacement on the Oak Hill High School Campus.

Qualified architectural design firms may submit a statement of qualifications to provide architectural/engineering design services for the above referenced project(s). These services will include design and construction administration and the county board of education will be using the process as required in West Virginia Code 5G-1-3. All firms submitting proposals will be evaluated and those firms considered to be most qualified will be short-listed and will be interviewed by the selection committee for further qualifications.

Request for Proposal will be received by Fayette County Schools no later than 3:00 p.m. (EST) on February 15, 2024. Submittals received after 3:00 p.m. (EST) February 15, 2024, will receive no consideration. All submittals must be submitted in a sealed envelope and addressed to:
