REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
INSTALLATION OF SAFETY AND SECURITY CAMERAS
AT BECKLEY HOUSING

BECKLEY, WV
The Beckley Housing Authority (BHA), located at 100 Beckwoods Drive, Beckley, West Virginia is seeking sealed proposals in response to a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the installation of safety and security cameras at East Park Bottom Apartments on Lower Ninth Street in the City of Beckley.
One (1) original and two (2) copies of the written proposal must be submitted to Ms. Donna Whitt, Executive Director, 100 Beckwoods Drive, Beckley, WV 25801 by 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 20th, 2024. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Safety and Security Cameras – Ninth Street.” Only written and sealed proposals will be accepted. Faxed or emailed proposals will not be accepted. Any proposal received after the time and date proposals are due will be returned unopened. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 3:30 p.m. on the same day. Bids will be reviewed, and the lowest responsible bid will be awarded at the regularly scheduled Board of Directors Meeting on Tuesday, March 5th, 2024, at 4:00 p.m.
In order to receive consideration, a proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond from a Surety Company authorized to do business in West Virginia, made payable to the order of the BHA in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid amount as a guarantee that, if the Proposal is accepted, the successful Bidder will enter into a Contract with the Housing Authority.

Davis Bacon Prevailing Wage Rates, as established by the U.S. Department of Labor, and other Federal Labor Standard Provisions apply. Bidders shall comply with all State and Federal laws prohibiting discrimination in hiring or employment opportunities.
