NOTICE OF AN OPPORTUNITY FOR PUBLIC MEETING AND COMMENT ON THE
PROPOSED PARTIAL ABANDONMENT OF CR 52/4 (0.16 MILE) AND ABANDONMENT IN ITS ENTIRETY OF COUNTY ROUTE 52/13 (0.14 MILE) AND ABANDONMENT IN ITS ENTIRETY OF COUNTY ROUTE 52/5 (1.04 MILE) LOCATED IN MERCER COUNTY, WEST VIRGINIA

The West Virginia Division of Highways hereby provides notice of the following proposed abandonments, all as located in Mercer County, West Virginia:

1. CR 52/4 – Proposed Partial Abandonment – beginning at a point on CR 52/4, said point being 0.10 mile southeast of the junction of US 52 and CR 52/4; thence southerly 0.16 mile and ending at its junction with CR 52/5. The total proposed partial abandonment from CR 52/4 is 0.16 mile.

2. CR 52/13 – Proposed Abandonment In Its Entirety – beginning at a point on CR 52/5, said point being 0.76 mile northwest of the junction of CR 52/5 and CR 52/6; thence westerly 0.14 mile and ending at a dead end. The total proposed abandonment from CR 52/13 is 0.14 mile, which is the entire length of CR 52/13.

3. CR 52/5 – Proposed Abandonment In Its Entirety – beginning at a point on CR 52/6, said point being 0.75 mile west of the junction of CR 52/6 and HA 901/33; thence northwesterly 1.04 miles and ending. The total proposed abandonment from CR 52/5 is 1.04 miles, which is the entire length of CR 52/5.

West Virginia Department of Transportation, Division of Highways, District 10, requested the abandonments. Information related to the proposed abandonments may be found at http://go.wv.gov/roadabandonments.
