Tariff filing to make certain changes to tariff.
NOTICE OF FILING
On October 24, 2023, Barrackville Garbage Service, LLC, filed to amend their current authorized tariff for Certification Nos. F-6013 and F-4985 to include following:
• the addition of a public utility tax of 2% to be charged to customers in the corporate limits of Barrackville, West Virginia;
• the addition of a public utility tax at the rate of 0.5% to be charged to the customers in the corporate limits of Farmington, West Virginia;
• increase a single pick-up of non-subscribers to $25.00 per pick-up depending on size, with an additional $1.00 per bag household trash and $10.00 per each additional bulky item;
• pick-up for extra bags to include contractor bags over 30 gallon at $3.00 each and regular bags under 30 gallon at $1.00 each;
• subscribing customers weekly bag limits 5 bags per week with a weight limit less than 20lbs per bag;
• subscribing customers bulky goods pick-up to 1 item per month on a day to be determined by the customer’s needs;
• tires off rim at $2.00 each and a limit of 8 per year; and
• delayed payment penalty to 10% of the total current balance will be applied to any account 20 days past the due date.
Anyone desiring to protest or intervene should file a written protest or notice of intervention within ten days following the date of this publication unless otherwise modified by Commission order. If no protests are received, the Commission may waive formal hearing and render its decision on the application based on the evidence submitted with the application and the Commission’s review thereof. Requests to intervene must comply with the Commission’s rules on intervention set forth in the Commission’s Rules of Practice and Procedure.
