PUBLIC NOTIFICATION
The Monumental Public Service District is planning a Phase II water system improvement project within its service area in Marion County. The project includes improvements to the existing water distribution system in the areas of the Plum Run tank, the upper end of Straight’s Run Road, Wilson Estates, Levi Lane, Clearview Ponds Estates, Toothman Run Road, Ann’s Run Road, Wisteria Lane, Bland Hollow Road, Horseshoe Road, Little Moody Run Road, Route 218 just north of Allison Lane, Ocheltree Lane and Jimtown Road. The general purpose of the project is to replace old, undersized waterlines with new, larger waterlines to improve potable water service.
This notice is also to inform the public of a public meeting to be held on March 12, 2024, at the Barrackville Lions Club Community Building at 716 ½ Pike Street, Barrackville, WV at 6:00 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to provide an opportunity to become acquainted with the planned water project and to comment on any potential environmental impacts.
