Notice is hereby given that BLUESTONE COAL CORPORATION, 302 SOUTH JEFFERSON STREET, ROANOKE, VA 24011 has submitted an application with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV 25840 for a Phase 1 release on Permit Number S400900 Increment Number 4 issued for 21.66 acres.
The permit is located in Barkers Ridge District of Wyoming County, 2.2 miles Southwest of NEW RICHMOND on Lambert Branch, Belcher Branch, Smith Branch, Sulphur Branch and Little White Oak; all of Pinnacle Creek of Upper Guyandotte River.
BLUESTONE COAL CORPORATION completed backfilling and regrading on 7/1/2007 and is requesting release of 60 percent of the reclamation performance bond currently in the amount of $83,600.00
Written comments will be received at the DEP address above until April 25, 2024, or thirty (30) days from date of final publication.
