That in accordance with West Virginia Code 38-14-1 et. seq., Peak Properties LLC, d/b/a Capitol Mini Storage, “Owner”, will hold a public auction to sell personal property held at its self service facility to satisfy a self-service storage lien on the property of hereafter referred to as “Occupant” In accordance with West Virginia Code 37-14-5, a purchaser in good faith of any personal property sold or otherwise disposed of pursuant to West Virginia Self Storage Lien Act takes the property free and clear of any rights of person against whom the lien was valid.

OF PETITION FOR FORFEITURE

The object of this suit is to seek an Order forfeiting the herein described property pursuant to the West Virginia Contraband Forfeiture Act (Chapter 60A, Article 7, of the West Virginia Code, as amended).
TO ANY CLAIMANT OF A
RIGHT OR INTEREST IN
SAID PROPERTY
You have the right to file a claim to the herein described property on or before the 5th day of April, 2024. Any such claim must clearly state the identity of the Claimant and an address where legal process can be served upon said Claimant. The property seized and subject of this suit is described as follows: 2022 CHEVROLET TRAIL BLAZER BEARING WEST VIRGINIA REGISTRATION 1TP-207, (VIN: KL79MUSL9NB045120), ONE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED SEVENTY-FIVE DOLLARS IN UNITED STATES CURRENCY.

The Law Enforcement Agency responsible for the seizure is the WHITE HALL POLICE DEPARTMENT.

The seizure took place on February 5, 2024, in Marion County, West Virginia. That a certain 2022 CHEVROLET TRAIL BLAZER BEARING WEST VIRGINIA REGISTRATION 1TP-207, (VIN: KL79MUSL9NB045120), ONE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED SEVENTY-FIVE DOLLARS IN UNITED STATES CURRENCY AND JESSICA GRACE KERSHNER, was produced from the search.

That after the date for filing of said claims an Order of the Court directing forfeiture of said seized property to the State and vesting ownership of said property shall be sought.

If you fail to file a claim, thereafter an Order, upon proper hearing may be entered against you for the relief demanded in the petition.
