REQUEST FOR BIDS –
ADDENDUM
The Bluefield WV Economic Development Authority (BEDA) is currently accepting bids for two new food trailers as part of their Food Trailer Incubator Program. BEDA wishes to issue an addendum to all interested bidders with the following information:
1. The original bid called for two 36-inch griddles and due to the small size of the trailer, BEDA will allow only one 36-inch griddle to be installed in each trailer.
2. Each food trailer must be equipped with a grease trap as part of the bid specification.
3. To allow bidders more time to prepare their bids, the due date of March 22 has been extended until April 1 at 4 pm. Any bids received after 4 pm will not be accepted.
All Bids shall be sealed and marked “Food Trailer Incubator” and delivered by hand or by postage pre-paid to Jim Spencer at 500 Bland Street, Third Floor, Bluefield, West Virginia 24701.
Sealed Bid opening will be held on April 1 at 4:05 pm at BEDA’s Office located at 500 Bland Street, Third Floor, Bluefield, West Virginia 24701.
BEDA will afford full opportunity for minority and/or women-owned business enterprises to submit a show of interest in response to this invitation and will not discriminate against any interested firm or individual on the grounds of race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, political affiliation, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, age, marital status, genetic information or disability in the contract award.
BEDA reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all bids. BEDA further reserves the right to contract with one business for the entire project or more than one business as BEDA deems to be in its best interests.
