Notice is hereby given that PAY CAR MINING, INC., 302 SOUTH JEFFERSON STREET, ROANOKE, VA 24011 has a permit on file with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for the surface mining of approximately 7.15 acres and has submitted an application to the DEP, 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV 25840, for renewal of Article 3 Permit Number U401098 to Operate a Deep Mine in the Pocahontas No 4 seam of coal. The operation is discharging into Bottom Creek of Elkhorn Creek of Tug Fork and is located 0.7 miles, East of KIMBALL in BROWNS CREEK District of McDowell County, Longitude 81o29’18” and Latitude 37o25’38” (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).
