LEGAL NOTICE-BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS

IN ACCORDANCE WITH CHAPTER 8A, ARTICLE 24 OF THE CODE OF WEST VIRGINIA, AS AMENDED, AND THE PARKERSBURG ZONING ORDINANCE A-2530 AS ADOPTED ON FEBRUARY 27, 1973, THE BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS WILL HOLD A PUBLIC MEETING AT 6:30 P.M., ON JANUARY 15, 2020, IN COUNCIL CHAMBERS ON THE SECOND FLOOR OF THE PARKERSBURG MUNICIPAL BUILDING, ONE GOVERNMENT SQUARE, PARKERSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA, TO CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING APPEALS:

A. Owner/Applicant Salvation Aremy, 570 5th Street, B-2
District. Requesting the Board of Zoning Appeals to allow an 8 foot high fence to surround the pavilion portion of this area. (Tabled in December meeting).

B. Clara Bennett, Applicant/Carlie Whiteleather, owner,
2505 9th Avenue, in an R-3 District. Requesting the
Board of Zoning Appeals to allow a double-wide to be placed on the property after the property is divided into two lots.

C. Ivan Barker, Jr. & Carol S. Barker, Applicants/Carlie
Whiteleather, owner, 2505 9th Avenue, in an R-3
District. Requesting the Board of Zoning Appeals to allow a double-wide to be placed on the property after the property is divided into two lots.

D. Robert Todd Burner, Applicant/RCT Rentals, LLC, owner, 3601 Murdoch Avenue, in a B-2 District. Re questing the Board of Zoning Appeals to allow video lottery in the existing location of the old Shorty’s Piz zeria.

E. Pike Street Lanes, Applicant/Owner, 2605 Pike Street, in a B-2 District. Requesting the Board of Zoning Ap peals to allow for 62 parking spaces, rather than the 160 required by the codified ordinance.
