Greenbrier County Landfill
Free Day Policy for 2015
Free day – any person not in the business of hauling solid waste for hire may dispose of an amount of household solid waste equal to one (half ton) pickup truck load per month, free of all charges and fees.
Revised May 1, 2010, by WVDEP 33CSR solid waste management rule subsection 4.14 a 2. one (1) pickup truckload or its equivalent means, no more than five hundred sixteen (516) pounds. If a pickup truckload contains waste from more than a single residential household a member of each additional household must be present with the load. Customer must identify himself as wishing to dispose under the provisions of free day when registering at the landfill office.
Free day at the Greenbrier County Landfill will be the second Tuesday of each month, between the hours of 8:30 AM until 4:00 PM.
