Invitation to Bid The Carter G. Woodson Memorial Foundation, Inc. is requesting bids for restoration and rehabilitation work on the Historic Memphis Tennessee Garrison House located at 1701 Tenth Ave., Huntington, WV. The project includes foundation stabilization; installation of electric, plumbing, and h/v system; restoring the exterior and interior; and other required restoration and rehabilitation work according to the Department of Interior Rehabilitation Standards. Davis-Bacon wages are required. The project completion date is no later than 2/1/23 and will be reviewed by the National Park Service. Contractors will be selected based upon (1) costs, (2) experience in historic preservation projects, (3) proven ability to complete the project according to specifications and on time, (4) experience in federally funded projects, and (5) required licensing, liability insurance, and state and federal employee benefit programs.
