Request for Proposals Coalfield Development Corporation (the Owner) invites proposals for a restroom fit-out project located at the West Edge Factory at 1040 Vernon Street, Huntington WV 25704. The proposed project is a 2-story, 7,000 sf bathroom fit-out with men’s and women’s ADA facilities on both floors. Also included is a double-height lobby with stairs, railing, and flooring patching; adjacent corridors, mechanical rooms, and small single-fixture restrooms. The scope consists of demolition, trenching and concrete repair, carpentry framing and drywall, flooring, doors and windows including storefront, mechanical HVAC systems and ductwork, electrical and lighting, and plumbing, fire-protection work, and finish work. Sitework includes replacement of the existing sanitary line from the building to Vernon Street that will include trenching, a new manhole, and ground repair. The Owner will be occupying adjacent areas within the building and will be self-performing ongoing work. Final bids will be received by Coalfield Development until 5:00 pm, local prevailing time, Friday, September 2, 2022 in accordance with the Notice to Bidders.
