No.: WV0024481 Applicant: BARBOURSVILLE, VILLAGE OF PO BOX 266 BARBOURSVILLE, WV 25504 Location: BARBOURSVILLE, CABELL COUNTY Latitude: 38:24:56 Longitude: 82:17:44 Receiving Stream: GUYANDOTTE RV H Activity: To operate and maintain an existing wastewater collection system and an existing 0.995 MGD partially aerated lagoon sewage treatment facility to discharge treated wastewater via Outlet No. 001 to the Guyandotte River, approximately 7.2 miles from its mouth, of the Ohio River. Facilities are to serve approximately 10,000 persons in the Village of Barboursville and its environs. An anti-degradation review has been conducted. Tier 1 protection is provided for the uses specified in Title 47, Series 2. Business conducted: Municipality Implementation: N On the basis of review of the application, the “Water Pollution Control Act (Chapter 22, Article 11-8(a)),” and the “West Virginia Legislative Rules,” the State of West Virginia will act on the above application. Any interested person may submit written comments on the draft permit and may request a public hearing by addressing such to the Director of the Division of Water and Waste Management within 30 days of the date of the public notice. Comments received within this period will be considered prior to acting on the permit application. The Director shall hold a public hearing whenever a finding is made, on the basis of requests, that there is a significant degree of public interest on issues relevant to the Draft Permit(s).
