LEGAL NOTICE Sealed proposals will be received by the Rome Township Trustees, until 2:00 P.M. Eastern Time on December 8, 2022 and will be opened and read immediately thereafter at the office of the Rome Township Trustees, 9644 County Road 107, Proctorville, Ohio 45659 for the: Rome Township Storm Sewer Improvements Daisy Lane and Ash Street Engineer’s Opinion of Probable Cost: $395,000 Completion Date – 180 days from Notice to Proceed This project consists of the installation of HDPE Storm Sewer, Catch Basins, and Restoration in the Daisy Lane and Ash Street area of Rome Township. Proposals mailed prior to the bid opening date shall be sent to Rome Township Trustees, 506 County Road 411, Proctorville, Ohio 45659. Proposals may be hand delivered on the date of bid opening to the office of the Rome Township Trustees, 9644 County Road 107, Proctorville, Ohio 45659. Bids must be in accordance with specifications and on forms available for review at E.L. Robinson Engineering, 155 West Central Avenue, Ashland, Kentucky 41101.and can be purchased and obtained at E.L. Robinson Engineering, 155 West Central Avenue, Ashland, Kentucky 41101 for a non-refundable cost of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) picked up or mailed. Make checks payable to E.L. Robinson Engineering. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio Products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor’s Executive Order of 1972, and Governor’s Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. Bidders must comply with the Davis Bacon Act and federal prevailing wage rates on public improvements in Lawrence County, Ohio as determined by the United States Department of Labor.
