ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Williamson Shriver Architects Project #2022-004 The Mingo County Board of Education, Williamson, WV will receive bids for Mingo County Schools – HVAC Replacement at Matewan PK8, Williamson PK8 and Tug Valley High School until 1:30 p.m., local prevailing time on 10th day of January 2023, at the office of the Mingo County Board of Education, Williamson, WV, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. A MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference has been scheduled for the 20th day of December 2022, beginning at 10:00 a.m., at Matewan PK8 School, then traveling to Williamson PK8 and Tug Valley High School. A site visit will be conducted following the meeting. The contract documents are available only from the architect’s Project Management Website. Login credentials will be sent to plan rooms, all prospective contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers after the request is made to [email protected]. Addenda will be only distributed electronically to bidders registered in attendance at the mandatory pre-bid meeting. This Project is funded through a American Rescue Plan Elementary & Secondary Schools Emergency Relief Fund (ARP ESSERF) Grant and subject to all Federal and State Guidelines including but not limited to 41 U.S.C. 1908, 41 CFR Part 60-1.3 for Equal Employment Opportunity, 40 U.S.C. 3141-3148 for the Davis-Bacon Act, 40 U.S.C. 3701-3708 for Contract Hours and Safety Standards, 42 U.S.C. 7401-7671q Clean Air Act, 2 CFR 200.323 Domestic Preferences for Procurement, 2 CFR 200.321 contracting for small and minority business, women business enterprises and labor surplus area firms, 2 CFR 200.323 Procurement of recovered materials, 34 CFR 75.609 and 75.610 for access by persons of disabilities and all Federal statues in regards to discrimination.
