Invitation to Bid The Carter G. Woodson Memorial Foundation, Inc. is requesting bids for restoration and rehabilitation work on the Historic Memphis Tennessee Garrison House located at 1701 Tenth Ave., Huntington, WV. The work includes the following projects: installation of electric, plumbing, and h system; restoring the exterior and interior; and other required restoration and rehabilitation. Work performed according to the Department of Interior Rehabilitation Standards. The bidders can bid on above projects separately. Davis-Bacon wages are required. Contractors will be selected based upon (1) costs, (2) experience in historic preservation projects (preferred), (3) proven ability to complete the project according to specifications and on time, (4) experience in federally funded projects, (5) required licensing, liability insurance, and state and federal employee benefit programs, and (6) at least 5 years of experience. The National Park Service will approve final bid(s) prior to contracts being signed.
