REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) DIGITAL f%] TECHNOLOGY VENDOR LAWRENCE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION APPALACHIAN FREEDOM HERITAGE TOURISM INITIATIVE ISSUE DATE: 51/21/4023 Digital Technology Vendor to create inclusive digital assets: Website, Video, and Audio to link nine counties into a cohesive online presence to support the Appalachian Freedom Heritage Tourism Initiative and to provide virtual and physical visitor count and analytics to support the project outcomes. Overview Lawrence Economic Development Corporation is seeking a digital technology vendor to develop an inclusive online presence that links all partners with in the Appalachian Freedom Heritage Tourism Initiative their tourist attractions, events, and amenities into a cohesive online presence. The digital technology vendor will develop a website, including video and audio content, that represents the region’s culture, and history, and attracts visitors to the area. The website will also provide an integrated digital marketing platform designed to promote the region as a tourist destination with in the scope of the project. Social media platform development and management for the project is also needed. Additionally, the vendor will be responsible for developing virtual and physical visitor count and analysis protocols that help the counties measure tourism grant outcomes. 30 month project budget is $295,000. Timeline The project is expected be on going through out the project timeline of 30 months. Initial platform set up is expected to take 60 days to complete, starting from the contract signing date. Scope of Work The digital technology vendor will be required to perform the following tasks: Create and manage a customized website, including video and audio content, that links nine counties and highlights their culture, and history, events, and other information with in the tourism project that will feature a 27 historical site tour by the end of the 30 months. Develop and manage a digital marketing platform designed to promote the region as a tourist destination and drive visitor traffic to the website. Provide inclusive website access for individuals with disabilities. Develop virtual and physical visitor count and analysis protocols that will be used to measure tourism grant outcomes. Provide training and support for the website administrators to manage and update the website after the project has been completed. Submission Requirements The following should be included in your proposal: – A detailed description of how your organization will accomplish the tasks outlined in the Scope of Work section. – A detailed timeline of the proposed project, including a project plan and milestones. – A list of prior relevant projects completed by your organization and references. – An estimated budget, including a breakdown of project costs.
