NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED MASTER LEASE-SUBLEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE LINCOLN COUNTY COMMISSION AND THE LINCOLN EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES, INC., TO ASSIST IN THE TAX-EXEMPT FINANCING OF EQUIPMENT Notice is hereby given that the Lincoln County Commission (the “Lessee”) will meet on Monday, June 5, 2023 @ 2:00 pm at the County Commission meeting room for the purpose of holding a public hearing pursuant to the requirements of Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, on a proposal that the Lessee enter into a Master Lease-Sublease agreement with Country Roads Leasing, LLC and the Lincoln Emergency Medical Services, Inc. (the “Sublessee”) in order to finance One (1) Ambulance, said equipment is to be located at 14 1st Street, Hamlin, West Virginia 25523. To finance the costs of the equipment and to pay costs and expenses incidental to the financing, the Lessee and Sublessee proposes to enter into a lease-purchase agreement in the maximum aggregate principal amount not to exceed $80,000.00. The Sublessee will be required to pay all expenses of operating, maintaining and insuring the equipment. The rental payments due pursuant to the lease-purchase agreement will be secured by a security interest in the equipment. All persons interested may appear and be heard at said time and place or may file written comments with the President of the Lessee prior to the date of the hearing set forth hereinabove.
