REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS PROPERTY MANAGER FOR CABINS AT IVY BRANCH The Hatfield McCoy Regional Recreation Authority, a public corporation in the state of West Virginia, is seeking a qualified company to operate six wooden cabins located on property at the Ivy Branch Trail System in Lincoln County. The successful company would lease the property from the Authority and would be responsible for groundskeeping, cabin maintenance, utility bills, cleaning, and all customer interactions including reservations and payments. All companies interested in submitting a proposal should email Kayla Badgett at : kbadgett@ trailsheaven.com to receive a full copy of the Request for Qualifications and submittal information. A full copy can also be viewed at the Authority’s Administrative Office, located at 180 Appalachian Outpost Trail, Man, West Virginia, during normal business hours. Proposals will be accepted by the Authority until Friday, April 12, 2024 at 1:00 PM. A Mandatory Pre-Bid Walk Through will be done on Monday, April 8, 2024 at 1:00 PM on property at the Ivy Branch Trail System located at 4260 Julian Road, Julian, West Virginia 25529 for all companies interested in submitting proposals. Requirements for proposals include (1) Must have a statement of qualifications with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in lodging business pertaining to tourism (2) Valid West Virginia business license (3) Must be present for the pre-bid walk through. A monthly lease payment will be remitted for 9 months of the year for the months of March through November. The intention of the competitive process is to objectively select the company who will provide the highest proposal amount and meets all required qualifications. Qualified respondents will be subject to an interview by the Authority. Proposals will be accepted until 1:00 PM on Friday, April 12, 2024. The Hatfield McCoy Regional Recreation Authority will afford full opportunity for minority business enterprises to submit a show of interest in response to this invitation and will not discriminate against any interested firm or individual on the grounds of race, creed, color, sex, age, handicap, or national origin in the contract award.
