No.: WV0024481 Applicant: BARBOURSVILLE, VILLAGE OF PO BOX 266 BARBOURSVILLE, WV 25504 Location: BARBOURSVILLE, CABELL COUNTY Latitude: 38:24:56 Longitude: 82:17:44 Receiving Stream: GUYANDOTTE RV H Activity: To acquire, construt, install, operate, and maintain a new lift station and headworks system. These facilities are designed to serve approximately 10,000 persons in the Village of Barboursville and its environs. The new pump station and headworks system will send approximately 700 gallons per minute of flow to the Pea Ridge PSD Outlet 004 WWTP for ultimate treatment and disposal. Pea Ridge PSD discharges to the Guyandotte River approximately 6.8 miles from its mouth of the Ohio River. The above mentioned project shall be constructed in accordance with the “Village of Barboursville Pea Ridge PSD Wastewater System Connector” approved on November 27, 2023 and prepared by Dunn Engingeers, Inc. 400 South Ruffner Road, Charleston, WV 25314; WV Health Department Permit No. 21,170. Business conducted: Municipality Implementation: N On the basis of review of the application the “Water Pollution Control Act (Chapter 22, Article 11-8(a)),” and the “West Virginia Legislative Rules,” the State of West Virginia will act on the above application. Any interested person may submit written comments on the draft permit modification and may request a public hearing by addressing such to the Director of the Division of Water and Waste Management within 30 days of the date of the public notice. Comments received within this period will be considered prior to acting on the permit modification application. The Director shall hold a public hearing whenever a finding is made, on the basis of requests, that there is a significant degree of public interest on issues relevant to the Draft Permit Modification(s).
