REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL CARPET AND LVT f%] LVP IN MULTIPLE SCHOOL BUILDINGS 2024-13 Sealed bids for the installation of carpet and LVT VP in county buildings will be received by the Raleigh County Board of Education, 2001 South Kanawha Street, Beckley, West Virginia, 25801 no later than Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at 3:00 pm EST. Bids will be opened and read aloud Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at 10:00 am EST. Neither dating of bid form nor placing in mail by this date will meet requirements. Bid documents must be received on or before the date and time stated. Bidders must comply with all requirements and conditions set forth in the document package. Product specifications will be discussed at this meeting; therefore, all bidders MUST attend to familiarize themselves with the Project conditions and other relevant information. Should any bidder fail to attend, its Bid will be disqualified. After the scheduled closing time of receipt of bids, no bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty days. Pursuant to Chapter 21 – Article 11 of the “West Virginia Contractor Licensing Act” of 1991, all Contractors doing business in West Virginia must be licensed to perform work in the State; the Contractors W.V. License Number must be affixed to all submitted construction bids and fully executed and binding construction Contracts or Agreements. All bidders are required to furnish a Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid price if the bid is over $25,000.00. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance and Labor and Material Bonds in the amount of the contract price if the contract is over $25,000.00. The Raleigh County Board of Education does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, disability, or age in its procurement policies, practices, or procedures. The Raleigh County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to make such selection by item or total bid amount as deemed to be in the best interest of Raleigh County Schools, and to purchase materials from vendors participating in state contract or cooperative.
