ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS ST. ALBANS MUNICIPAL UTILITY COMMISSION KANAWHA COUNTY, WEST VIRGINIA DUMP TRUCK APRIL 2024 Sealed Bids will be received by the St. Albans Municipal Utility Commission, 1499 MacCorkle Avenue, St. Albans, West Virginia 25177, at the specified dates and times for the following work: Dump Truck Bid, until 2:00 P.M., L.P.T. on May 3, 2024. Following the scheduled closing time for the reception of bids, all proposals that have been submitted in accordance with the conditions of this project will be publicly opened and read aloud. The work to be bid upon is described as follows: Dump Truck Bid Bids shall be received by the St. Albans Municipal Utility Commission for furnishing and delivering a new Dump Truck. The truck shall be a 2023 or current model Chevrolet Silverado 6500 HD, medium duty, 23,000 lb GVWR, with 4WD, equipped with a Duramax 6.6L Diesel Turbo V8 engine, with 6-speed automatic transmission for rugged duty service, with steel dump bed. Equivalent vehicles with comparable equipment to that specified will be acceptable. The equipment supplied shall be a new, unused model equipped as described in the Specifications. Bidders shall submit a base price less any government discounts available. Interested bidders can obtain bid documents from Chapman Technical Group. Any questions about the meaning, the intent or the specifications must be inquired into by the Bidder in writing by 4:00 PM, April 26, 2024, in order to allow sufficient time to issue any addenda. Each Bid for the Dump Truck shall be submitted on the Bidder’s standard equipment bid proposal format and included in a sealed envelope if mailed with the following information written on the outside of the envelope: Dump Truck Bid “Name and Address of Bidder”, St. Albans Municipal Utility Service, Bid on Dump Truck, to be opened at 2:00 P.M., L.P.T. on May 3, 2024. Electronic bid submission is not acceptable. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after the time of the opening of the Bids. NOTICE OF PUBLIC INFORMATIONAL WORKSHOP 12TH STREET BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT STATE PROJECT: S306-283 f%] 00-0.03 00 23 FEDERAL PROJECT: (EN) STBG-3283(001)D (CN) STBG-3283(003)D CABELL COUNTY, WEST VIRGINIA The West Virginia Division of Highways (WVDOH) will hold a Public Informational Workshop on May 7 th, 2024, at the Ritter Park Rose Garden Room With a View & Grounds, located at 1570 McCoy Road, Huntington, West Virginia 25701 on the proposed 12th Street Bridge replacement project. The WVDOH is planning to replace the existing structure that was constructed in 1927 with a new bridge in the same location similar to the nearby 8th Street Bridge project completed in 2021. This meeting complies with the public involvement requirements of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act, and Section 4(f) of U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) Act of 1966. NO FORMAL PRESENTATION WILL BE MADE. The scheduled public meeting is from 4 to 7 p.m. and the public will be afforded the opportunity to ask questions and give written comments on the project throughout the meeting.
