LEGAL AD NOTICE OF BID The Mingo County Board of Education will receive sealed bids by written proposals for county wide grass and brush cutting through November 2024 with option to renew up to two (2) additional terms. Sealed bids will be accepted until 1:00 pm May 10th, 2024, then opened publicly. The seal bids shall be mailed, or hand delivered to the Mingo County Schools District Office located at 110 Cinderella Road, Williamson, WV 25661. The sealed envelope should be marked “Grass and Brush Cutting” and made to the attention of Beth Daniels, Treasurer SBO. All bidders must submit a valid Business Registration Certificate from the West Virginia State Tax Department, and proof of insurance with the bid. A mandatory pre-bid meeting begins at 9am May 6th, 2024, at Dingess Elementary located at 495 Messenger Branch Road Dingess, WV 25671. After meeting and going over specifics xpectations at Dingess Elementary the group will travel to all other district locations and go over the expectations at each site. Any vendor who leaves and does not continue to each additional site will not be eligible to submit a bid. The successful vendor will be required to enter into a written agreement with Mingo County Schools.
