PUBLIC NOTICE Notice is hereby given that the metropolitan planning organization (MPO) of the Regional Intergovernmental Council (RIC), the federally designated metropolitan planning organization for the Charleston, WV urbanized area, is seeking public comment on its draft Title VI Plan update. The plan documents the strategies to ensure that programs and activities that receive federal funding do not discriminate against people based on their race, color, national origin, language proficiency, or other protected classes. The draft plan can be viewed during the public comment period (October 28, 2024 – December 11, 2024) at www.wvregion3.org or at the Regional Intergovernmental Council (RIC), located at 315 D Street, South Charleston, WV 25303, from 8:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. during weekdays, excluding Federal and State holidays.
