IMPORTANT PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT The Huntington WV Housing Authority’s (HWVHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program’s waiting list will be opening to take applications from Income limits apply based on HUD’s Very low-income limits, rent is based upon 30 % of annual adjusted income. In person applications will be taken When: July 15, 2025, through July 18th, 2025. Tues, Wed, Friday from 8am – 2pm and Thursday 12pm – 6pm. Where: HWVHA main office located at 300 W 7th Ave Huntington WV 25701 Interested persons must submit a copy of social security cards and birth certificates for all household members, proof of all household income, photo id for household members over the age of 18, and proof of assets if assets are valued above $100,000. Please have all items copied or ready to be copied when you come in to fill out your application. Applications may also be submitted online during the times listed above at www.huntingtonhousing.com.
