Request for Bids The Logan County Commission will receive sealed bids for the annual County Clean-up in Logan County, West Virginia, on September 28, 2021, at 11:00 o’clock a.m. at 325 Stratton Street, Logan, West Virginia. Due to Covid-19, the County will only be providing one location for disposal. The bid will include equipment and manpower to operate a cleanup site at Schoolhouse Hollow Road, at Mt. Gay, Logan County, WV, from October 8, 2021, through October 23, 2021. Disposal of all collected garbage will be transported to a landfill in Charleston, West Virginia. Tipping fees are paid by the County. Bids will be based on equipment rates; Loader, excavator, etc., and manpower to be included in your equipment rate; and Trucking is per load to landfill. Any contractor submitting a bid on this project hereby certifies, indicates and acknowledges that he has a license and meets all the qualifications required by the statutes of the state and subdivision in which the work is to be performed. The contractor shall comply with the West Virginia Contractor Licensing Act and shall require all subcontractors to comply with that Act. A contractor’s license number is to be included on the bid submission. Proof of Insurance is also required. The Logan County Commission reserves the right to waive any informality in the bid and to reject any or all bids.
