Invitation for Bids
The Nicholas County Solid Waste Authority is seeking bids for the construction of Phase 2 Closure at its solid waste landfill facility at Calvin, WV. This includes, but not limited to, intermediate grading, surface preparation, gas well installation, final soil cover, grass-lined ditches, riprap-lined ditches, miscellaneous piping, gas vents, re-vegetation.
All bids shall meet the specifications set forth in the “Invitation for Bids.” The Invitation for Bids, required bidding forms, and plans can be obtained by contacting the Nicholas County Solid Waste Authority at (304) 742-3518 or [email protected]. All plans and specifications will be available electronically at no cost to the bidder or $125.00 per set of paper plans. They will be available after June 10, 2019. Those documents contain specific requirements concerning the delivery of the bids and required documents.
There will be a MANDATORY pre-bid meeting and site visit on June 27, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. All bids are due by 11:00 a.m. July 23, 2019. Any bid can be rejected in whole or in part as determined appropriate by the Nicholas County Solid Waste Authority.
