NOTICE

 

Notice is hereby given that the above-styled matter has been filed in the Circuit Court of Wood County, West Virginia, pursuant to the West Virginia Contraband Forfeiture Act (West Virginia Code 60A-7-1, et. seq.). Any person or corporation having a claim to the hereinafter described property shall, on or before the 9th day of June 2015, file, in writing, their claim to said property with the Clerk of said Court, which said claim must clearly state the identity of the claimant and an address where legal process can be served upon such person or corporation. A copy of said claim shall be delivered to Jason A. Wharton, Prosecuting Attorney, Counsel for Petitioners, at the Office of the Wood County Prosecuting Attorney, Judge Donald Black Annex, 317 Market Street, Parkersburg, West Virginia 26101.

Pursuant to West Virginia Code 60A-7-705 (c)(1-6), the following information is given: (1) the property seized which is the subject of the petition filed is; $1,070.00 in United States Currency; (2) the Parkersburg Police Department is responsible for the seizure; (3) the property was seized on February 5, 2015 at 5th and Ann Streets, Parkersburg, Wood County West Virginia; (4) the only owners of the property subject to forfeiture known to Petitioners is William Miller; (5) the person having possession of the seized property at the time of the seizure was William Miller; and (6) a request to the above named Court to enter an Order directing ownership of said property in the State and the Parkersburg Police Department will be made.
