LEGAL NOTICE REQUEST FOR BID TASERS AND BODY CAMERAS – FIVE YEAR CONTRACT TERM The City of Welch is soliciting competitive firm fixed priced bids from qualified vendors to provide tasers and body cameras for the Welch City Police Department for a five year contract term. Said body cameras should provide video uploads of data immediately upon removal from person to a central server with unlimited storage and provide for a new equipment upgrades and replacement at or near the mid-point of said term. Sealed bids will be received at city Hall, Welch, WV 24801, located at 88 Howard Street, Welch, WV 24801 no later than 2:00 p.m., 20 May 2015, at which time all sealed bids will be publically opened and read aloud. Bids received after this date and time shall not be opened or considered for award. This contract for purchase shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose proposal is determined to be the most advantageous to the City of Welch based on price and other factors, including, but not limited to, quality of equipment, reputation of product and equipment, repair cost estimates and any other factor deemed pertinent by the City of Welch.
