Notice of Violation is hereby given to any and all parties relative to the above referenced property by the Monongalia County Commission, through the Abandoned and Dilapidated Property Enforcement Agency. Within thirty days from the date this notice first appears, the owner or his/her designee shall secure the premises by boarding all doors and windows to assure a safe and secure area according to the guidelines of the Enforcement Agency. Overgrown vegetation should also be removed. If no action is taken within said 30 days, a formal Complaint will be issued by the County Commission that will allow sixty days to complete the project. At the end of the sixty days a fine of $100 per day for every day the work is not complete will be imposed. Ninety days later, the property file will go to the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney for action in Circuit Court. The next meeting of the Enforcement Agency is scheduled for Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the County Commissioner’ s Hearing Room of the Courthouse. PUBLIC NOTICE AMENDMENT TO THE MERCER COUNTY CLEAN INDOOR AIR REGULATION PROPOSED The Mercer County Board of Health is considering an additional amendment to the Mercer County Clean Indoor Air Regulation of 2005. The proposed amendment would be further define the use of electronic smoking devices in vape shops. (“WHERE SMOKING IS NOT REGULATED” A.6 of the Regulation.) Written comments on the proposed amendment will be received by the Mercer County Board of Health for a period of 30 days beginning on August 28, 2015 and ending on September 28, 2015. Written comments should be mailed to the Mercer County Health Department, 978 Blue Prince Road, Bluefield, WV,24701 or e-mailed to [email protected]. A copy of the proposed regulation can be obtained at the Mercer County Health Department Monday through Friday, 8 AM – 4 PM.
