NOTICE

 

Notice is hereby given that the above-styled matter has been filed in the Circuit Court of Wood County, West Virginia, pursuant to the West Virginia Contraband Forfeiture Act (West Virginia Code 60A-7-701, et. seq.). Any person or corporation having a claim to the hereinafter described property shall, on or before the 27th day of October, 2015, file, in writing, their claim to said property with the Clerk of said Court, which said claim must clearly state the identity of the claimant and an address where legal process can be served upon such person or corporation. A copy of said claim shall be delivered to Jason A. Wharton, Prosecuting Attorney, Counsel for Petitioners, at the Office of the Wood County Prosecuting Attorney, Judge Donald Black Annex, 317 Market Street, Parkersburg, West Virginia 26101.

Pursuant to West Virginia Code 60A-7-705 (c)(1-6), the following information is given: (1) the property seized which is the subject of the petition filed is $3,693.00 in United States Currency, H&R Topper model .410 Serial A207819, Camouflage wrapped SKS Serial 20001556, Remington Model 788 .233 Serial A6146669, Remington 870 12 Gauge Serial RS57235E, H&A Revolver No Serial number, 2007 Honda Odyssey VIN 5FNRL38227B066566, (2) the Parkersburg Narcotics Task Force is responsible for the seizure; (3) the property was seized on June 17, 2015 at 5200 Orchard Avenue, Parkersburg, Wood County West Virginia; (4) the only owners of the property subject to forfeiture known to Petitioners is Kelly Newberry; (5) the person having possession of the seized property at the time of the seizure was Kelly Newberry; and (6) a request to the above named Court to enter an Order directing ownership of said property in the State and the Parkersburg Narcotics Task Force will be made.
