REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
MONONGALIA COUNTY COMMISSION
MORGANTOWN, WV

The Monongalia County Commission is seeking competitive sealed proposals from contractors for the provision of food service for the Camp Muffly 2015 Summer Camp Season. Proposals will be received at the Monongalia County Commission, 2nd Floor of the Courthouse, 243 High Street Room 202, Morgantown, WV 26505, at or prior to 10:00 a.m. on February 11, 2015. Each bid shall be enclosed in a sealed, self-addressed, opaque envelope plainly marked: CAMP MUFFLY FOOD SERVICE PROPOSAL. The project is for catering Services at Camp Muffly for the 2015 summer camp programs to give the campers and staff meals that they enjoy, fill their appetites and provide them with a balanced diet. The Dining Hall at Camp Muffly has a capacity of 250 people for each meal. During the 2014 Summer Camp season approximately 2500 breakfasts, 3000 lunches, and 3400 dinners were served (which may fluctuate from year to year depending on the amount of campers that will use the camp). The Proposer shall purchase and pay for all costs associated with food service including: labor, food, transportation, paper products, disposable cups and eating utensils, cleaning supplies, trash liners, oil for fryers, grease removal, linen and apron service and all other related costs (e.g., condiments, etc.).

There is a MANDATORY Pre-Proposal meeting and facility walkthrough scheduled for February 3, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Camp Muffly, 1477 Four H Camp Rd, Morgantown, WV 26508. Complete instructions for filing proposals are included in the Instructions to Proposers. No proposals will be considered unless submitted on forms prescribed within the RFP package. Requests for the RFP package can be obtained from Anthony Giambrone, Coordinator of Programs and Services, at . Proposer will supply all insurance and licenses to perform any activities. A certified check or bank draft payable to the Monongalia County Commission in the amount of ten percent (10{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c}) of the proposal is required within the sealed proposal. Any work performed or any materials contracted for prior to receipt of the owner’ s written notice to proceed and/or purchase order shall be at the proposer’ s risk. The Monongalia County Commission reserves the right to accept and/or reject any and all proposals.

No proposer may withdraw their proposal for a period of ninety (90) days after the time of the proposal opening.
