NOTICE Request for Bids Gym Floor Refinishing The Mercer County Board of Education invites bids to provide all work, including but not limited to labor, material, equipment, supplies, and transportation for refinishing wooden gym floors at eight schools as per specifications for applied product. The required completion date for the work is July 15, 2016. All bidders must submit a copy of their Contractor’s License as required by Chapter 21 of the WV Code. The successful bidder will also be required to comply with all rules and regulations of the West Virginia Workers’ Compensation Laws, provide evidence of insurance coverage to the minimum limits required by the bid documents, and submit a State of West Virginia Drug Free Workplace Conformance Affidavit. Final contract payment will not be made to the vendor until all certifications of compliance with WV Code ?5A-3-10a, ?11-10-11(d) and ?21-A-2-6c (a) for payment of applicable state and county taxes has been obtained. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least ninety days. Other requirements are detailed in the bid package. Bids will be opened and read aloud March 8, 2016 at 11:00 a.m., Conference Room, Mercer County Board of Education, 1403 Honaker Avenue, Princeton, WV 24740.
