NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE is hereby given that the Town of Granville, West Virginia, a municipal corporation, will hold a hearing before the final vote on a proposed ordinance, the principal object of which is the increase of sewer rates for customers of the sewer system operated by the Town of Granville, West Virginia. The title of such ordinance is “AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF GRANVILLE, WEST VIRGINIA AMENDING PART NINE, CHAPTER THREE, ARTICLE 921.17 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE TOWN OF GRANVILLE, WEST VIRGINIA BY INCREASING THE RATES CHARGED FOR THE USE OF AND SERVICE RENDERED BY THE SEWER SYSTEM OF THE TOWN OF GRANVILLE, WEST VIRGINIA” . The rates and charges being proposed are:
(A) RATE (Based upon the metered amount of water used)
First 2,000 gallons used per month $13.41 per 1,000 gallons
Next 8,000 gallons used per month $12.53 per 1,000 gallons
Next 20,000 gallons used per month $11.67 per 1,000 gallons
All Over 30,000 gallons used per month $10.73 per 1,000 gallons
(B) MINIMUM CHARGE
No bill will be rendered for less than $26.82 per month.
(C) DELAYED PAYMENT PENALTY
The above tariff is net. Any account not paid in full within twenty (20) days of the date of bill, ten percent (10{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c}) will be added to the net amount shown. This delayed payment penalty is not interest and is only to be collected once for each bill where it is appropriate.
(D) CONNECTION CHARGE

(E) EFFECTIVE DATE
July 1, 2016
The final vote on adoption of said proposed ordinance shall be held in the Council Chambers of the Town of Granville, West Virginia, Town Hall, 1245 Main Street, Granville, West Virginia on April 26, 2016, at seven o’ clock (7:00) p.m. Interested parties may appear and be heard at such time with respect to the passage of the proposed ordinance.
