ADVERTISEMENT TAZEWELL COUNTY, VIRGINIA Request for Bids 2016-2017 Roadway Repair Project The Board of Supervisors of Tazewell County Virginia and the Tazewell County PSA are currently accepting sealed bids from qualified contractors to perform maintenance and repairs on various orphan roads in Tazewell County. All those interested in bidding on the Roadway Repair Project must attend a mandatory pre-bid conference meeting scheduled for 10:00 am on September 22, 2016 in the Tazewell County Administration Building Board Room, Tazewell, Virginia 24651. A package containing additional information, including road lists, quantities, and locations will be handed out at that time. Bids must be received no later than 2:00 pm on October 3, 2016 at which time the bids be opened in the board room of the Tazewell County Administration Building. The envelope must be clearly marked “Roadway Repair Bid” and addressed to Matthew Anderson, County Engineer at 108 East Main Street, Tazewell, Virginia 24651. Questions concerning the bid or pre-bid conference will be responded to by calling 276-385-1217. The Tazewell County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any and all bids if it appears in Tazewell County’s best interest to do so, and accept only that bid deemed to be in the best interest of Tazewell County, Virginia.
